Venkatesan obtained his M.Tech degree in 2026 in the Electronics and Communication from the Department of Electrical Communication Engineering at the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. Before joining IISc, he worked as a product developer at Vernalis Systems from Nov 2021 to Feb 2023, and a junior software developer at TCS from Jul 2019 to Oct 2021. He received his Bachelor’s in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Erode Sengunthar Engineering College, Tamil Nadu in 2019. He worked as an intern at Vernalis Systems from Aug 2018 to Mar 2019. His research interests are in wireless systems, with research experience in the performance evaluation of multi-connectivity MPTCP systems and in optimization.
